Test & Validation department within Vestas Wind Systems A/S plays an important role towards verification & validation of new prototype components, systems and modules. To optimize testing, we bring field conditions into our test center and expose them to functional, performance and reliability testing whereas robustness and lifetime have high focus.

Responsibilities

Implement tests on generators and converters, individual but also as combined systems with quality mindset to ensure we verify and validate our products correctly to meet market requirements
Planning of tests in co-operation with Project managers and designers
Participate in supplier qualification test of generators
