Industrial PhD position: Stability Assessment of In Situ Railway Embankments

You can obtain a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) while working for Banedenmark - the Danish Railway company. We offer a PhD position in collaboration with DTU Sustain and Banedenmark that aims to bring us a step closer to building the future of railway: resilient and sustainable.

The objective of this project is to develop new procedures that would optimize assessment of existing railway embankments and design of new ones, reducing construction and maintenance costs thereby advancing the competitiveness of rail as a transportation means.

DTU Management’s Transportation Systems Modelling section invites applications for a 3-year PhD position starting on 1 October 2024 or earlier.

PhD positions in Compositional Simulation of Reactive Transport in CO2 Storage - DTU Chemistry

Centre for Energy Resources Engineering (CERE) at DTU Chemistry is seeking talented PhD students to contribute to our exciting CO₂ storage research in the project Compositional Simulation of Reactive Transport in CO₂ Storage (CompReact).

The CompReact project has two PhD positions. The students will work on the improvement of the calculation algorithms for multiphase reactions, the integration of the multiphase reaction module into a CO₂ storage simulator, and simulation analysis using the developed simulator.
