FX Business Analyst

About the role

Joining our team means working at the heart of front office FX, with real ownership and visibility across electronic trading, APIs, and digital FX platforms. You will collaborate closely with traders, sales, quants, and engineers on live markets, shaping solutions end to end, from idea to production, rather than just documenting requirements. • Own business analysis for FX trading and e trading initiatives, covering pricing, execution, deal capture, and digital FX workflows
• Work closely with FX Trading, Sales, Quants, and Product Owners to clarify business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements
• Drive requirements definition and refinement (features, user stories, acceptance criteria) for FX platforms, including APIs and OMS integrations
• Support solution design and decision making by analysing trade flows, FX rate usage, margins, and booking logic
• Coordinate and lead testing and UAT for FX changes, ensuring business readiness before production releases
• Act as the primary business point of contact during delivery, resolving clarifications and prioritisation questions with technology teams
• Manage and collaborate with external vendors and partners, including requirements alignment, solution clarification, and delivery follow up
• Support our development cycle by contributing FX insights, delivery status, data analysis, and material preparation aligned with bank governance requirements
  

About you
Need to have

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial markets, with hands on exposure to one or more asset classes (FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, or Commodities)
• Strong understanding of trading and e trading workflows (pricing, execution, deal capture, post trade), gained in a front office or markets facing environment
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, structured functional requirements in Agile environments
• Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing trade flows, market data, pricing logic, margins, and operational impacts
• Experience working with external vendors and technology partners, including requirements alignment and delivery follow up
• Relevant education in finance, economics, engineering, or similar, combined with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Understanding of FX trading and e trading workflows, with familiarity with how pricing, execution, booking, and post trade processes fit together across FX products
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or integrations, such as trading systems, APIs, or OMS/EMS environments
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
• Prior exposure to front office Trading desks, Sales, or Quants
• Certifications such as CBAP, Agile/Scrum, SAFe, or other financial markets related qualifications
