
Project Execution Engineer (Marine & Offshore)

Our Marine and Offshore is growing in fast speed and we need a Project Execution Engineer to join our team of 5 in Slagelse, Denmark, reporting to the Head of Project Engineering & Execution. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality projects across our international Marine & Industry segment.
Your impact
You will take ownership of project execution from contract handover to final delivery – ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on scope and in full compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
As part of the role, you will act as a key specialist within the team on contractual and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with:
- Technical Agreements
- ISO/IEC standards
- HSE requirements
- QA/QC standards
You will collaborate closely with colleagues, customers and partners across countries and disciplines, acting as a trusted coordinator and problem-solver throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will be doing
- Drive planning and execution of offshore and EPCI projects
- Translate contracts and technical requirements into structured execution plans
- Ensure high-quality project documentation and traceability
- Act as a specialist on compliance and contractual requirements within the project team
- Coordinate with shipyards, contractors, suppliers and classification societies
- Manage progress, risks and change orders proactively
- Contribute to testing, commissioning and final handover
- Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement
Who you are
- You have a technical background (e.g. engineering, marine or mechanical)
- You enjoy working in a structured, project-driven environment
- You have a strong understanding of technical standards and compliance frameworks
- You are comfortable navigating both technical details and commercial aspects
- You communicate confidently in English both spoken and written and if you understand/speak northern language and/or Chinees it is an advantage.
- Experience from offshore, marine or industrial projects is an advantage
- You are proactive, detail-oriented and take ownership
