You will work with virtual sound environments to develop clinical protocols for assessing spatial hearing and hearing device benefit in a more ecologically valid way.

You will evaluate whether, and to what extent, spatial hearing can be incorporated into clinical practice to solve existing clinical problems for clinicians by, for example, shadowing patients through their rehabilitation journey, conducting smaller-scale listener studies with individuals with hearing impairment, and conducting larger-scale evaluations of clinical protocols that aim at providing better patient experience and overall outcomes.
