Would you like to discover new quantum defects and explore their properties for revolutionary applications in nano-scale magnetic field sensing?

The section for quantum physics and information technology (QPIT) and the center for macroscopic quantum states (bigQ) at the Physics department, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Physics) is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated candidate for a PhD position within experimental quantum physics on the discovery of new quantum point defects in crystalline solids.

As a PhD student at QPIT/bigQ within the BIO-MAG program, you will work on the discovery of novel quantum defects in crystalline solid-state materials and explore their properties for emerging quantum technologies, specifically the detection of magnetic fields at the nano-scale.
