PhD scholarship in Membrane Technology and Enzyme Immobilization

A collaboration between DTU Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and the Sino-Danish center is seeking for a PhD student. The focus of the PhD project will be to build a cell-like reactor that enables efficient mass transfer and efficient multi-enzyme reactions at different conditions by using methods, materials and technologies related to membrane separation and enzyme technology.

The successful candidate for this position will be in charge of designing and implementing a one-pot lab-size reactor using commercial polymeric nanofiltration membrane material and other selected materials e.g. polyelectrolytes to build a cell-like architecture, also involving enzyme immobilization techniques.
