Product Cost Manager

As Product Cost Manger you will focus on driving the initiatives for the design-to-cost and cost-out from a platform perspective. A key aspect of this role will also be to keep the overview of product costs and the competitiveness of the costs whilst also cooperating across the departments.

In this role you will be driving the definition of cost-out opportunities together with the ongoing R&D programs and Module Cost Managers. This role has a fundamental role in supporting R&D modules in handling and maturing cost-out measures, second sourcing activities, and further supporting new product development and release programs in cost target setting/planning, cost breakdown, and tracking.

You will also be ensuring traceability and transparency of components and product costs by preparing and facilitating re-occurring “Cost Review Meetings” for senior management and likewise to be specialists on the floor.
