Bioinformaticians/Computer Scientists with expertise and interest in microbial surveillance

Are you passionate about bioinformatics, software development and making an impact in public health? Then you might be one of our new colleges at Bioinformatics and Microbial Genomics group at Statens Serum Institut.

We are currently looking for two bioinformaticians with a focus on web development to develop pipelines and software infrastructure to assist in our task of microbial surveillance and research in public health. Both of the positions include some work related to the ongoing SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

You will primarily be developing and maintaining software to support our routine surveillance tasks, and taking it to the next level by facilitating a common framework for microbiology surveillance in Denmark.
