Der er en stærk historie i Edlund og alle der har været der længe føler den. Der er også en stærk kultur i Edlund. Den gennemsnitlige uddannelseslængde er meget høj, hvilket giver et unikt og interessant miljø at arbejde i.
gode kolleger, gode vilkår, gode omgivelser
Ledelsen har siden Edlund blev overtaget af KMD, kæmpet med at få Edlunds ret unikke profil til at passe ind i KMDs univers, og det betyder at en masse beslutninger, som træffes på KMD niveau, passer meget dårligt ind i kulturen og dette har en ødelæggende effekt for motivationen og følelsen af at være noget særligt, som har kendetegnet Edlund. der er ofte en dårlig stemning af endnu et tiltag i den forkerte retning.
