Coloplast A/S

We make life easier for people with intimate health care needs

Coloplast develops products and services that make life easier for people with very personal and private medical conditions. Working closely with the people who use our products, we create solutions that are sensitive to their special needs. We call this intimate health care.

Coloplast was founded in 1957. Today, our business includes Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Wound & Skin Care, Interventional Urology and Voice & Respiratory Care. We operate globally and employ about 14,000 employees worldwide.

“We all come to work every day to make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs and to create a culture of empowerment, energy and long-term engagement.”
Dorthe Rønnau, People & Culture.

Join our journey to make sustainability easier for our users

We are in constant growth, both organically and through acquisitions. But our economic advancement is never at the cost of the impact we leave on our planet. Because our products are plastic-based, we feel an even bigger responsibility to think sustainably – without ever compromising the functionality.

As of 2021, 58% of our production waste is recycled, and 70% of our packaging consists of renewable materials. And with an entire department working with sustainability, we constantly strive to optimize our products, packaging, and supply chain.

Build a career in an inspiring environment where we are all leaders

Delivering on our mission requires strong and inspiring leadership from every one of us. At Coloplast, we are all responsible for creating great solutions for our customers and to create the best possible conditions for all colleagues to thrive and develop. We believe that we are all leaders who lead tasks, projects, teams, functions or businesses and who collaborate to bring the best solution for our customers now and in the future.

Our Leadership Promise is made up of four core elements that are equally important. We call it ‘a promise’ because it indicates a personal and emotional commitment that points to the future. We use the term ‘we’ because it stresses the importance of unity and underlines that we can only succeed if we’re able to collaborate with each other. Our Leadership Promise consists of four elements; we empower, we simplify, we aim high, and we are inclusive.
