HyFiSyn aims to train 13 early stage researchers to become interdisciplinary, multi-talented experts. The 8 universities, 5 industrial partners and 2 professional training organisations offer the researchers a unique opportunity to be trained by world-leading experts in cutting-edge technologies, where they are supported by a strong network and industry participation.
This PhD project evaluates the mechanical properties of fibre-hybrid composites by using micromechanical modelling on composites manufactured with controlled microstructure. The main part of the work will be performed at the Section of Composites and Materials Mechanics at the Department of Wind Energy, DTU (Denmark).
DTU, The Technical University of Denmark, Department of Management Engineering invites applicants for a 3-year PhD position on “Affective Interaction between New Venture Team members”, starting ideally on 1 September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter in 2018.
The project focuses on understanding the interaction mechanisms underlying performance relevant long-term outcomes in new venture teams, i.e. how a team’s interactions can be used to predict its future success. For this purpose you will conduct a longitudinal panel study with start-up teams. You will analyse the teams using SPAFF coding scheme and follow them intensively for three years.
This includes in-depth qualitative measures about the team (e.g. team climate, team potency) and about the business (e.g. business gestation activities, survival, sales and employment growth).
We are looking for a Scientist with a PhD in molecular pharmacology or biology and with a strong experience in using cellular models and assays to join the Department of Signal Transduction in the Lundbeck Neuroscience organization. The department is responsible for target related as well as exploratory in vitro biology studies and plays an integral role in supporting and developing new drug discovery projects within our core disease areas of Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia and Major Depressive Disorder.
You will be working closely with other academics and technicians in the department to provide key experimental data to a portfolio of drug discovery projects. You will be responsible for planning experimental studies in close collaboration with your academic colleagues and executing these in the laboratory independently and together with the laboratory’s experienced technicians.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Centre for Intestinal Absorption and Transport of Biopharmaceuticals invites applications for a PhD position in biopharmaceutical therapeutics and nanomedicine.
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our team. You will be part of a Centre funded by Novo Nordisk consisting of skilled scientist and a multidisciplinary environment.
The research field of the position is within the field of oral drug delivery with an emphasis on mechanistic characterization of peptide-based carriers in intestinal in vitro/ex vivo models.
A 3-year PhD position is available in the laboratory of Professor Preben Morth at the Technical University of Denmark.
The aim is to understand how the lipid environment influences the activity of membrane proteins, using active transporters as benchmark systems, and to investigate the dynamic fluctuations between lipid and protein in solution and using state of the art biophysical methods and enzyme kinetic methods.
We search for highly motivated individuals to work in the field of membrane protein chemistry. The ideal candidate has previous experience in membrane protein expression and purification for structural analysis as well as experience with enzyme kinetics and the use of fluorescence spectroscopy.
