You will take an important leadership position, which involves the responsibility of 80-100 highly qualified employees, including PhD students, researchers, professors, development engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.

You will have overall responsibility for the division's research, education, innovation, and commercial activities, as well as the operation of research facilities.

As Head of Division, you will also be part of the department's management group, which, in addition to the Head of Department, consists of three other Heads of Division and the Head of Administration.

Could you envision “seeing” chemical reactions being catalyzed at the atomic-scale? Two or more scholarships are now open for experimental research in nanoparticle catalysis using advanced operando electron microscopy at the Center for Visualizing Catalytic Processes (VISION).

VISION is developing and applying a new unique platform for visualizing catalytic nanoparticles and reactions at the atomic-level by integrating cutting-edge electron microscopy, microfabricated nanoreactors, nanoparticle synthesis and computational modelling. This approach enables new, direct operando observations that are urgently needed to advance mechanistic insight into catalytic processes at the atomic-scale.

DTU Bioengineering seeks a qualified candidate for a fully funded 3-year PhD position within Bioinformatics Based Mapping of N-Glycosylation of Proteins in Archaea. The PhD project is part of a Marie Sklodowska-Curie doctoral training Program, GLYCO-N, funded by the EU (MSCA Doctoral Network).

The PhD project is thus part of a bigger interdisciplinary research effort that aims to 1) Understand the diversity and structural complexity of archaeal, microalgal and viral N-glycosylation and 2) Harness this knowledge for new solutions in biomedicine and biotechnology.

PhD scholarship in computational kinetic modelling of human glycolysis - DTU Biosustain

Thanks to recent advances in computational and analytical biology, it is now possible to reconcile mechanistic models of cell metabolism with information from quantitative multiomics experiments. In this study, we will explore human embryonic kidney (HEK) cells.

This PhD student will work closely with another student who will collect multiomics data from HEK cells specifically for kinetic modelling. The focus of the current project will be to fit a kinetic model with this data and address open scientific questions about glycolysis based on the results.

You will work on a project to design fluorinated polymers prepared through light-induced polymerization. The design space for finding the optimal composition and synthesis conditions for polymer electrolytes is too vast to explore manually.
