PhD scholarship in Higher Order Mode Raman Fiber Laser - DTU Electro

In the proposed project you will develop a new platform based on higher order modes and the Raman effect to demonstrate high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers at arbitrary wavelength. The project will among others consist of the following:

• Numerical simulation of multimode Raman interaction
• Mode excitation in optical fibers
• Characterize the modal purity of a multimode Raman amplifier
• Develop and implement spatial mode filters

This project aims to move beyond traditional disease management strategies, which often have limited efficacy, and instead develop an innovative approach that utilize bacterial interactions and bacterial gene products to reduce or abolish virulence of the plant pathogen.
