A 3-year PhD scholarship in supramolecular and bioorganic chemistry is available at the Technical University of Denmark.

The project will explore the use of enzyme-catalysed reactions in templated dynamic covalent synthesis – combining supramolecular chemistry and enzymology in a biotechnological approach to oligosaccharide synthesis.

Your work could include:

• the design, organic synthesis and characterisation of molecular building blocks, templates and mechanically-interlocked structures;

PhD scholarship: Computational Prediction of Nuclear Fission Products Behavior in a Molten Salt Reactor – DTU Chemistry

A 3-year PhD scholarship concerned with the use of computer simulation for predicting fission products (FP) behavior – such as solubility – in a Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) is available.

In the SolveMSR project – funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark – we will work towards creating a computational framework for predicting FP behavior in the fuel salt matrix of MSRs. We will benchmark the framework against experimental data.

Centre for Energy Resources Engineering (CERE) at DTU Chemistry is seeking talented PhD students to contribute to our exciting CO₂ storage research in the project Compositional Simulation of Reactive Transport in CO₂ Storage (CompReact).
