Junior Finance Controller

As our new Junior Finance Controller, you will gain hands-on experience with finance operations, SAP processes, and financial controls while working closely with experienced colleagues in an innovative and globally expanding organization.

Based at our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, you will join the Finance Operations team and report to the Head of Finance Operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to develop both technical finance expertise and business understanding in a high-tech international environment. The role supports our continued growth and integration within the Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation group.

Tasks and responsibilities

Support Finance Operations

Support daily SAP Finance activities, including transaction processing, master data validation, and basic troubleshooting to ensure efficient finance operations.

Manage Invoice Processing

Help ensure incoming invoices are processed accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of financial control and compliance.

Maintain Process Documentation

Prepare, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other finance process documentation in line with group standards and best practices.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement

Support the standardization and continuous improvement of finance processes and frameworks across the organization.

Support Month-End Closing

Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation as part of the monthly financial closing process.

Participate in Ad Hoc Projects

Contribute to various finance and administrative projects and tasks as required by the team.

Skills, experiences and qualifications we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience within finance, accounting, or a similar function.
• Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Experience working with SAP FI or another ERP system.
• Exposure to process documentation and SOP development.
• Experience from an international company or shared service environment.
