As a Paid Search Specialist, you will join a newly established paid media team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and data-driven practices. This dynamic team is focused on delivering results, shaping workflows, and driving impactful campaigns that reinforce Danske Bank’s digital presence. You’ll collaborate with experts across paid media disciplines, marketing, analytics, content, and web to transform intent signals into improved campaign performance, enhanced landing page relevance, and smarter customer acquisition strategies.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and execution-oriented Paid Specialist to join Danske Bank’s new in-house Paid Media Team within Nordic Business Banking Marketing. In this role, you will help plan, execute and optimise paid media activities that increase always-on visibility, support campaign priorities and turn business demand into measurable commercial outcomes across the funnel. You will be responsible for buying media across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, YouTube, Display and relevant programmatic buying environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising to support business banking objectives.
  • Plan, execute and optimise upper- and mid-funnel campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, Display and relevant programmatic platforms.
  • Build and maintain always-on paid search activation that supports segment priorities and complements larger campaign bursts.
  • Conduct keyword, query, audience and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve campaign performance.
  • Track and improve performance across KPIs such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, quality score, reach, frequency, CPM, viewability, video completion rate and traffic quality.
  • Stay updated on developments in AI-powered search experiences and LLM-influenced search behaviour, and translate relevant learnings into paid media recommendations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a colleague with strong search and Google ecosystem expertise, a methodological approach and a curiosity for how digital discovery and media are changing. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment.

  • Demonstrated practical experience with paid search and Google Ads campaign management and optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads and preferably Microsoft Advertising.
  • Experience with keyword strategy, campaign structure, bidding approaches, ad copy testing, landing page optimisation and search query analysis.
  • Solid analytical capabilities and confidence in working with performance data, campaign insights and actionable recommendations.
  • An interest in how AI-powered search experiences and LLMs are changing user behaviour and paid media is considered an advantage.
  • A desire to help build a modern, high-performing in-house Google media capability with strong commercial accountability.
