Danske Bank is looking for a skilled developer to join a dedicated Squad within our Core Financing Platform tribe, where your ability to connect dots and drive end-to-end solutions will be key.

Who Are We?

Core Financing Platform is a diverse and collaborative tribe (department) of around 200 professionals across Denmark, Lithuania, and India. We build solutions that enable financing across the Nordic markets. This role is based at our new domicile in Copenhagen V, where we expect you to be working.

You will be joining a specific Squad (team) with a clear mission and ownership of critical components. The Squad values autonomy, accountability, and a holistic mindset – so we’re looking for someone who can take initiative, understand the full lifecycle of solutions, and contribute meaningfully to both technical and business outcomes.

You will also be part of a Chapter (team), collaborating with peers across Squads to share knowledge and grow professionally.

Role and Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native software solutions using .NET C#, Docker, REST API, Microsoft SQL Server, and GitHub
  • Apply DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Take ownership of features from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code that supports long-term maintainability
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other developers to shape solutions
  • Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Stay curious and proactive in exploring new technologies and practices

About You

You are not just a coder – you are a problem solver who sees the whole picture. You enjoy working in a focused team and taking initiative to move things forward. We imagine you:

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in backend development with C#, .NET Core, and REST APIse, and REST APIs with a minimum of 3 years of experience within a bank or a minimum of 5 years outside of a bank
  • Apply Clean Code principles and scalable design patterns
  • Think holistically about architecture, performance, and business impact
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Are proactive in identifying opportunities and solving challenges
  • Thrive in agile environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams
