Your Position
As a Document Controller at Semco Maritime, you will be instrumental in managing and organizing project documentation effectively. This role is pivotal in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring documentation integrity and compliance. Your critical eye for detail and logical approach to navigating various IT systems will be key in promoting a strong safety culture and delivering innovative solutions to the global energy sector.

Your primary workplace will be at our headquarters in Esbjerg, a vibrant hub of the Danish energy industry, located right on the waterfront. This role requires occasional travel, typically ranging from 0 to 10 days, depending on client and partner locations.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the Rig & Marine division by:
- Proactively creating, maintaining, and standardizing documentation, constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency and clarity.
- Acting as the primary liaison for all documentation matters between clients and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication and critical evaluation of information.
- Implementing rigorous version control and upholding document quality standards to meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and critically assessing opportunities to streamline and improve document management processes.
- Supporting project teams with administrative tasks, documentation audits, and compliance checks according to the Semco Maritime Project Execution model.
- Maintaining high standards for health, safety, and environmental compliance, critically reviewing practices and suggesting improvements.
Your Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a proactive, meticulous individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a project-oriented mindset. You should be:
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Experienced with over 5 years in document control or a similar role, ideally within the maritime and oil and gas sectors, with a deep understanding of ISO standards and other relevant regulations.
- Proficient in using document management software such as SharePoint, EDMS, and similar platforms.
- Excellent at verbal and written communication in both English and Danish, capable of engaging effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- A dedicated team player who is also self-driven and capable of working independently, always looking to challenge processes and drive improvements.
