Your position

At Semco Maritime, safety isn't just a policy; it's a cornerstone of our culture. Your efforts will be key in maintaining and enhancing our strong safety standards, directly impacting the global energy sector.

As Compliance Specialist in our HSEQ department, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated HSEQ team, working together to ensure the HSEQ performance within our organisation and offshore operations across the world. You will act as a key sparring partner for the HSEQ team and other stakeholder internally in Semco.

Your primary place of work will be at our Global HQ in Esbjerg by the seafront, with one of the best views in the city. The position is full-time, and we offer flexible working conditions with the option to work from home two days a week, and requires 20-30 travel days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities

You will play a central role in improving the HSEQ performance within Semco Maritime. Furthermore, you will support the development and execution of HSEQ initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders mainly in these three areas:

  • Business System:
    • Manage and oversee the effective operation of business systems within the organization.
    • Ensure business processes, tools, and systems are integrated, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • HSEQ Reporting System:
    • Ensure data is collected, validated, and reported according to established requirements.
    • Maintain system functionality and compliance.
  • Audit Management
    • Ensure our audit program is properly managed, maintained and comply with internal and external standards and regulations.
    • Coordinate and participate in execution of the audit program in cooperation with the internal audit team.

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for someone with a proactive and curious mindset, an analytical approach to your work. You should:

  • Demonstrate ownership of your tasks with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills to enhance business execution.
  • Hold great communication skills and enjoy building relationships
  • Bring at least 5 years of experience in HSEQ activities including proven experience with audit management
  • Strong background in of HSEQ systems. Preferably including knowledge of Synergi Life.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
