Your new role
In close cooperation with your colleagues, you act as a QA for QC servicing our internal and external QC laboratories.
Novo Nordisk is expanding within synthetic API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) and in this position, you will primarily work with analytical methods from Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO).
You contribute to finding solutions for ad hoc questions and challenges within compliance of QC laboratories.
You will participate in projects working with both internal and external stakeholders and you must expect a level of complexity and independent decision making in your daily tasks.
The job includes:
- Approving the documentation needed for the operation of the laboratories such as change requests, deviations, and SOP’s.
- QA review and approval of analytical documentation such as protocols and reports for method validation from NN site and CMOs
- Keep up to date with changes in relevant guidelines and regulatory requirements
Furthermore, your focus will be on influencing and setting the right level of compliance, optimizing processes through a LEAN mindset, and establishing new processes that support our business objectives.
Your new department
ET QA New Entry & Support is a department with approximately 30 skilled and motivated colleagues. We handle new and emerging technologies for Novo Nordisk's product portfolio as well as supporting the rest of QA and production. We are proud to work in a fast-growing and ambitious part of Novo Nordisk.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold a master’s degree as Pharmacist, Chemist, Engineer or similar.
- Have at least +5 years of experience within the pharma or regulated industry.
- Have solid and up-to date knowledge of quality and GMP requirements.
- Knowledge within analysis validation and working with CMOs.
- Are fluent in English and have a good Danish proficiency too.
The ideal candidate have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while challenging the status quo.
The most important asset that you can bring to succeed in this job is a well-developed understanding of quality and a natural urge to handle quality issues at the right level, make decisions and follow up on quality related problems. On a personal level, you are an open-minded person with an outgoing attitude and natural networking skills, you take responsibility, work independently, and make decisions that balance quality demands, authority expectations and business needs. You meet your deadlines, and you know how to prioritize between different tasks in an ever-changing environment.
