The Position
As an Advanced Computerised Equipment Validation Engineer, you will become part of an agile team tasked with managing and maintaining our computerized test equipment. You will ensure these systems are functional, validated, and compliant with Novo Nordisk requirements, as well as regulatory standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with various internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership of core computerised test equipment setups, ensuring effective operation and compliance while maintaining them in a validated state
- Install, configure, validate, and troubleshoot complex systems, including software and firmware from different suppliers, GxP fileshares, equipment network connection, to support efficient laboratory processes
- Ensure IT security and data integrity by adhering to Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for Computer Systems Validation
- Conduct IT risk assessments, audit trail reviews, IT recovery plans, IT incident management, and support all computerised equipment
- Manage deviations and prepare change requests, conduct annual user and configuration reviews of equipment
Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
- A BSc and/or MSc degree in engineering, Data Science, IT, Digitalisation, or similar fields and a great passion for working with IT and system operations, along with a natural curiosity for new technologies and opportunities
- At least, 3 years of experience managing IT systems – possibly in a regulated area
- Experience using or implementing LIMS
- Some experience in driving IT improvements or managing projects
- Professional proficiency in English
As a person, you possess excellent coordination and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex issues with precision and efficiency.
About the department
You will join the Equipment & CT team, part of the Testing & Verification department in Final Product Development (FPDev). Our team, consisting of 10 passionate colleagues, plays an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process. We deliver specialized exploratory testing and design verification. Our responsibility includes specifying, developing, and validating new test equipment to support verification testing of drug delivery solutions.
