Your new role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer with experience in ABB 800xA systems. The selected candidate will initially be assigned to the Expansion Project and will later transition into the 800xA Center of Excellence (CoE) as part of the preparation for operational readiness. This role is critical in ensuring the stability and security of our DCS infrastructure across production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain 800xA system infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, domain services, backups, and cybersecurity controls.
- Manage user access, group policies, and system configurations in accordance with IT and GxP compliance standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for 800xA-related IT issues, including interfaces to PAS-X, PI, and Batch systems.
- Participate in project activities as System Engineer, ensuring alignment with architectural and validation requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and support audit readiness.
- Collaborate with OT, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and support.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this position, we imagine you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Engineering, Automation or other relevant field.
- Proven experience in a regulated production or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of ABB 800xA system architecture and related IT components.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, and network protocols.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of documenting in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication in English and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with GxP requirements and validated IT systems is a strong advantage.
