The Position
As an Insights & Analytics Manager, you will:
- Drive competitive insights by analysing and identifying trends from multiple data sources, e.g. in-market data, prescription data and patients & customers insights
- Be the anchor point as market and commercial input to internal strategic and budget processes
- Perform deep-dive ad-hoc analysis and be a strong insights partner for management and cross-regional stakeholders
- Provide monthly market performance reports for key business areas (diabetes & obesity) and for total Region Europe & Canada (EUCAN), and continuously enrich the report with valuable insights and KPIs in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate data asset acquisitions and market research processes with affiliates, Global and external data vendors (e.g. IQVIA)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, science or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, consulting, or commercial excellence; experience within pharma industry is an advantage, but not a must
- Working proficiency with complex business questions from multiple data sources and a demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures, in close link to the business reality
- A highly curious, creative and collaborative mind with a can-do attitude, able to design, develop, and implement new initiatives combined with exceptional learning and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PowerPoint and Excel required
- Professional level written and spoken English
Desirable requirements
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas in a simple to understand manner, with demonstrated abilities in data storytelling
- Experience with data extract, transformation and analysis tools is a strong plus but not a must (PowerQuery/PowerBI/Alteryx/SQL)
