Full-stack Developer – Build a Platform from the Ground Up

Do you want to build something from scratch rather than simply maintain what someone else has already built?

At Bixter, we are building an ecosystem of platforms for international recruitment, connecting international talent with employers across Europe and the partners that help make the journey possible.

Now we're looking for a Full-stack Developer who wants to take a central role in building the technical foundation behind it.

This isn't a role where you'll become developer number 27 in an established setup. You'll join early, get real responsibility and have the opportunity to influence how our platform is built – from architecture and APIs to user experience, cloud infrastructure and AI integrations.

You'll build it – and help shape it.

As our Full-stack Developer, you'll work across the entire platform and collaborate closely with our design and product team.

You'll:

  • Build our web platform end-to-end, from intuitive user experiences to APIs and data architecture
  • Develop logins, accounts and role-based experiences for talent, employers and partners
  • Integrate services such as payments and identity verification
  • Build matching functionality and systems handling complex rules and regulations
  • Develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure, deployment and monitoring
  • Turn UX designs into fast, accessible and polished digital experiences
  • Explore and integrate AI and LLM technologies where they create real value
  • Have significant influence on technical decisions and the future development of the platform

In short: you won't just be writing features. You'll help build the foundation.

Who are you?

We're looking for someone who enjoys having both responsibility and freedom.

You probably have experience building a marketplace, ecosystem or complex customer-facing platform and feel comfortable moving between backend, frontend and infrastructure.

Technically, we imagine you have experience with several of the following:

  • Python or Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  • React/Next.js or Vue/Nuxt
  • TypeScript
  • Cloud platforms and DevOps
  • AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain or similar

You don't necessarily need to tick every box.

What's more important is that you're curious, technically ambitious and comfortable making decisions and turning ideas into working products.

Your workplace will be at Bixter in Kolding.

Please note that this is an on-site position, so regular remote working is not part of the role. In return, we offer cozy work place, good team and flexible working hours, giving you greater flexibility in how you structure your day.
