Join BioPorto and Help Improve Kidney Health
At BioPorto, we are transforming care through actionable biomarkers. We provide clinicians with tools that support meaningful changes in patient management and help address acute kidney injury, a silent epidemic that can be difficult to identify early. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Business Partner to join our Finance team in Hellerup and turn financial insights into a strong foundation for business decisions.
About the Role
As Senior Business Partner, you will report directly to our CFO, Klaus Juhl Wulff, and work closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial transparency and support informed operational and strategic decisions. Your scope will include budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, management reporting, and financial analysis, alongside finance projects and support for the corporate strategy. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports.
This is an opportunity to take responsibility from day one in an international diagnostics scale-up. You will be close to decisions, see your work move from idea to implementation, and have room to develop with the role and the company. The position is based at BioPorto’s office at Tuborg Havnevej 15 in Hellerup, Denmark.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial insights and ad hoc analyses to management to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Support the business through management and sales reporting, including further development of digital reporting tools.
- Prepare budgets, follow up on performance, and deliver forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Partner with the Commercial team on revenue forecasting, analysis, and follow-up.
- Provide financial support and follow-up for clinical trials.
- Support the development and updating of the corporate strategy plan and contribute to Audit Committee work.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Contribute to ERP system upgrades as needed, manage insurance, and support finance-related projects.
Your Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- You bring at least three years of finance experience, preferably from a similar role, consulting, or audit.
- You combine solid business understanding with strong analytical and financial modeling skills and can translate financial data into clear insights.
- You have advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Navision or Business Central. Experience with AI and/or Power BI is an advantage.
- You are a hands-on financial generalist with a structured, proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
- You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and organize and prioritize deliverables effectively as business needs change.
- You work collaboratively across functions in an international organization and bring a positive, supportive approach to colleagues.
- You communicate and present clearly in written and spoken English and maintain high integrity and confidentiality.
