Our first product is for diabetes, where we have developed an affordable insulin pen. The product is FDA 510(k) cleared, CE marked and registered in Mexico.

GO-Pen ApS was founded in 2019 by Ole and Michael who both have +20 years’ experience from the MedTech and pharmaceutical industry. We are a lean and passionate team with a strong network, contracting and working with the best in the industry.

About the role:

GO-Pen is looking for a Financial Analyst to build the financial foundation for the company's next phase of growth. The role supports key decisions on production capacity and funding, and offers a clear path to grow into Head of Finance over time.

Working closely with colleagues across operations, commercial and management, the Financial Analyst provides the numbers that guide investment, planning and partner relationships.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities will include the following:

Budget and cash flow

  • Maintaining a rolling cash flow forecast and monthly reporting of actuals against budget by function

Capacity investment

  • Preparing costed investment cases for production capacity, including financing routes, in time for management and board decisions

Working capital

  • Modelling and reporting working capital needs linked to inventory build-up

Unit economics

  • Analysing cost per reservoir and per pen, landed cost by market, and margin by channel and pricing tier
  • Supporting pricing work

Partner credit exposure

  • Monitoring partner financing, receivables, and payment terms

Administration

  • Overseeing bookkeeping, ERP, IT and information security, and contracting support

Key results from the role

  • Accuracy of the cash forecast against actuals
  • Budget against actual results by function
  • Investment cases delivered ahead of decision deadlines
  • Days sales outstanding on partner receivables
  • Monthly close completed on a fixed date

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Early-career experience in financial analysis, controlling, or a similar role, ideally in a growth company or a manufacturing or medtech environment
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, including cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience with ERP and accounting systems
  • Structured, accurate, and comfortable working independently in a small team
  • Ambition to grow into a broader finance leadership role
  • Good working English
