
Welding Engineer

Your area of responsibility
You will be part of Engineering team, which supports both running production and new projects with the specialization in Welding. You will have contact with Production, Quality and Maintenance colleagues.
Further responsibilities will be:
- Monitor the welding quality and material quality and support production in solving welding problems according to welding regulations and customer requirements
- Coordinate and standardize welding tools and fixtures, including storage
- Lead the complaints related to welding
- Train employees in production of necessary
- Lead innovative projects in welding technology
- Plan and coordinate the manufacture of prototypes and fixtures for welding techniques
- Continuously optimize and develop welding techniques, surface technology (technical cleanliness, degreasing and cleaning, if necessary pickling passivation)
Your profile
We see you with a technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable studies with the focus on Welding or alternatively technically oriented apprenticeship in connection with some years of equivalent work experience. Ideally, we expect that you have additional qualification as a welding engineer.
We expect that you have 3-5 years practical experience as an engineer, supporting serial production. Applicants with experience from the automotive sector and with insight into aluminium are preferred.
On the personal side you would like to work in a team with international context, have strong communication skills and commitment.
Strong language skills required in both English and Danish or German.
