Quality Engineer

About the Position
As Quality Engineer in FLONIDAN, you will report to our Chief Quality Officer and become part of a small team of ambitious and self-driven colleagues. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer complaints, support supplier-related quality tasks, planning and participating in internal as well as external audits in both Denmark and abroad, optimizing quality documentation, supporting the development department with ISO/MID/ATEX certification activities, and identifying opportunities to improve our quality processes. Our subcontractors are based in Thailand and Poland, and some of our suppliers are in Asia. Therefore, 15–20 travel days per year in connection with audits and similar activities, should be expected.
About You
You have a keen eye for detail, are hands-on and have a systematic approach to your work, ensuring that policies and procedures comply with applicable legislation and standards. You have a technical background and several years of hands-on experience in a similar quality-related role. You are fluent in English. You are accustomed to working with quality management systems. Experience in the following areas is an advantage:
- Complaint handling and 8D reporting
- Case management in JIRA or a similar RAM system
- Internal & External audits
- ISO 9001 processes and requirements
- Chemical and environmental management
- Maintenance of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 documentation in QMS (D4 Infonet)
- ERP systems (Navision)
As a person, you are positive and calm. You take initiative, enjoy motivating your colleagues, and work in a focused, structured, and independent manner. You thrive in a role with varied responsibilities and excel at cross-functional collaboration and communication. You bring a strong commercial understanding to your work without compromising on quality. Auditor certification is considered an advantage.
