Head of Sales, Commercial & Residential

To support our continued journey, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales, Commercial & Residential to lead and grow our business across international markets.

About the position

In this role, you will lead and develop our Commercial & Residential business across the Nordics, Baltics, Asia and Oceania, excluding China. The sales team is based in Denmark, and you will become part of the Danish management team with responsibility for driving both short-term commercial performance and long-term sales development.

The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on commercial execution. You will be responsible for delivering growth and profitability while helping build a scalable and structured sales organization for the future. The role includes periodic international travel in connection with customer visits, market development and commercial follow-up across the assigned markets.

Organizational context

The position reports to the Head of Sales & Operations, who holds overall responsibility for the Danish sales and operations setup.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Commercial & Residential across assigned markets, aligned with the overall commercial strategy
  • Translate the strategy into clear sales priorities, targets, growth plans and actions based on market opportunities and customer potential
  • Drive revenue growth and gross margin performance through structured and commercially sound sales execution
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Take an active role in selected key customers, larger quotations, and strategic commercial opportunities
  • Lead, motivate and develop a small high-performing sales team based in Denmark
  • Ensure strong forecasting, structured sales follow-up, and commercial discipline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial priorities with operational capabilities
  • Provide structured reporting, performance follow-up, and corrective actions when needed

Your Profile

  • 5–10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within technical, industrial, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience leading sales teams and driving commercial growth
  • Strong business acumen and strategic sales capabilities
  • Experience with pipeline management, forecasting, and structured sales execution
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented leadership style
  • Professional English skills, both written and verbal
  • Additional Nordic or international language skills are considered an advantage
