QC Scientist for world leading CRO

About the role

As QC scientist at Alphalyse, you will take the role of project manager for our QC services. Together with the team, you will be responsible for performing method qualifications of client impurity projects. You will plan the projects, coordinate the laboratory work, perform data analysis, and present the results to our clients. You must ensure that the projects are aligned with our quality standards and protocols, to meet GMP requirements. As part of the QC Department, you will take ownership of maintaining our quality level as well as developing process improvements.

To thrive in this role, you should enjoy communicating with people of different scientific professions as you will collaborate closely with our clients and with colleagues at Alphalyse. You have an organized and structured mindset, and work systematically and independently.

Your skills and experience

• A background in natural sciences (Master’s degree in Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields)
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and ideally also project management
• Familiarity with GMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory work
• Ability to create and maintain systems that promote productivity and enhance clarity

Additional experience in some of these areas is an advantage

• Work experience from GMP environment or with ICH guidelines
• Work experience as a Project Manager from a CRO
• Protein chemistry and/or Mass spectrometry knowledge
• Process optimization or automation
• Experience with LIMS and digitalization preferably in GMP areas
