Finance Specialist

Sophie Bille Brahe ApS is looking for a Finance Specialist to join our finance team in Copenhagen.

As Finance Specialist, you will be an important part of the finance function at Sophie Bille Brahe’s headquarter in the heart of Copenhagen. Here, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the company's accounting and bookkeeping, and you will work closely together with their Finance & Operations Director regarding the operation and ongoing development of the Finance function and with our external bookkeeping consultants.

You will become part of a fast-growing, international company, headquartered in Copenhagen.

Primary responsibilities and tasks

  • Handling Intercompany related tasks, e.g. reconciliations, posting of invoices etc.
  • Weekly accounts receivable follow-ups and reconciliations
  • Ongoing inventory management and coordination of stock counts
  • Being part of the month-end closing procedure, including reconciliations
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks and finance-oriented projects

Your competencies

We are looking for a candidate who, with your professional competencies and solution-oriented mindset, can see yourself contributing to Sophie Bille Brahe’s continued success. In this regard, we imagine that you possess the following qualifications:

  • Hold a relevant education in office administration or accounting
  • Have experience with above tasks from a similar position
  • Are proficient in the use of Excel
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business central or similar ERP systems
  • Experience with intercompany setup
  • Are structured, detail-oriented, and meticulous in your task execution, while also being able to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Are service-minded, work independently, and enjoy taking responsibility and ownership
  • Have good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing – Danish language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
