You will be joining a dedicated team, united by a real passion for exploring new ways of providing Customer Service within shipping. The team is headed by an experienced Manager with great energy and enthusiasm in setting the strongest team to achieve a very ambitious strategy.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Customer Service Assistant in our Key Account team, you will join a group of 5 dedicated and highly skilled colleagues who work tirelessly to support our customers, making a real impact where it matters most. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service every day, ensuring that shipments reach their destinations swiftly and efficiently. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders across functions and borders, playing an essential part in a truly global effort.

Your responsibilities include delivering outstanding and effective customer service by applying your industry knowledge and collaborating with your team to foster a high-performance culture, all in alignment with MSC's local guidelines and global strategy. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and supportive team dynamic, ensuring seamless coordination of bookings and related requests with MSC agents across the world. In addition, you will manage a variety of logistics tasks, including booking shipments, arranging haulage, handling documentation, and you will continuously strive to exceed expectations and uphold our reputation for excellence.

THESE ARE YOUR KEY TASKS

  • Have a close dialogue with relevant MSC Agents in establishing client specific procedures / plans
  • Focus on developing personal competencies
  • Supporting Business Development activities across subsidiaries within your team
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our external stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with MSC Agents for new business development establishment
  • Support in developing customer incentive and retention programs to ensure customer loyalty
  • Support high satisfaction and motivation in your team
  • Ensure correct personal competencies through active development
  • Proactively support optimization of customer service procedures and standards for the team
  • Supporting the company strategy and development of Customer Service processes in the team

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience from a similar role within shipping and forwarding, preferably in sea freight with focus on customer needs and expectations.

Furthermore, we expect you to show convincing examples of:

  • Passion for providing a high level of Customer Service
  • Clear understanding of teamwork
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in written
  • Strong communication, implementation, and execution skills
  • The ability not to be afraid to show what you are capable of
  • Danish and English skills as well as knowledge of Excel and Outlook is a must
