Service Maintenance Engineer – Lowest Replaceable Unit

You will be responsible for defining and approving the data requirements that are essential to determine the Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU). Those requirements will encompass both technical and commercial information. You will be responsible for defining the LRU on new and existing system/components, where the starting point is the engineering Bill of Materials (BoMs) ending up with a Service BoM. This BoM conversion is the essence of the LRU activity, which incorporate various factors such as safety, environment, accessibility, duration of events, efficiency and profitability.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that past mistakes related to the LRU definition are minimized and not repeated in the future, by accumulated experience and continually ‘stay tuned’ on issues raised by our customers.
