Senior Development Engineer for advanced wind measurements and analysis

We are looking for an experienced wind measurement engineer who is capable of taking responsibility for wind scanner measurement field campaigns and can use advanced data handling methods to organise and analyse the data.
DTU Wind Energy are world leaders in wind measurements using systems of scanning lidars. These are specially designed, steerable beam lidars. Synchronised systems of these lidars are used to measure wind turbine inflow and wakes as well as characterising the flow over hills and mountains where wind turbines will be installed.
Making good scanning lidar measurements is exceptionally challenging since there are many pitfalls and many complicated systems that all have to work correctly together.
