The aim of the project is to bring about a paradigm shift in the design of switchable materials, by delving into the uncharted territory of f-element valence change (VC).

The PhD project will focus on the design, synthesis, and characterization of new types of metal-organic network structures, which includes the detailed elucidation of atomic and electronic structures, and physical properties.
