To assess the magnitude and spatiotemporal distribution of bycatch in gillnet fisheries in Danish waters, DTU Aqua monitors fishing vessels using video-based electronic monitoring (EM).

In order to complete the bycatch database, you will analyse EM data and watch videos of the fishing activities of different commercial gillnet vessels operating around Denmark, recording relevant information in our database using specialized software.
