Global Emergency Advisor

The Emergency Unit is responsible for leading DRC’s approach to emergency preparedness and response, through strategy, policies and emergency focused support.
Some of the main tasks for the Global Emergency Advisor include but are not limited to:
- Provide high level strategic support, advice, and monitoring of emergency operations and preparedness within DRC country programs delivered directly or indirectly according to DRC processes and structures
- Support adaptation of policy, guidelines, and tools, contributing to DRC’s emergency response framework and programming handbooks in line with DRC global strategy and initiatives within the humanitarian sphere
