Products from the Ultrafast Laser Group are deployed in many life-changing applications which include ophthalmic surgical procedures that restore sight, the early identification of life-threatening diseases and the mapping of neuron activity in the brain.

This is a hands-on role and along the product journey, you will use your problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions to ensure that we stay at the cutting edge of our industry, and are able to help our customers develop the next generation of solutions.

Your skills and experience include:

• Strong technical background with a Ph.D. level in Photonics or related field
• Ability to take ownership of and lead product development in laser optics
• Knowledge and good understanding of laser physics and nonlinear optics
