PhD position: Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms

We invite applications for PhD position in the Section for Experimental and Translational Immunology, within DTU Health Tech.

A three-year PhD position funded by the Lundbeck Foundation to study cellular and molecular mechanisms that regulate neuropathogenic T cell populations. More specifically, the project will utilize mouse models to investigate how changes during neonatal life affect the development of putative neuropathogenic T cell subsets. The successful candidate will join a team of immunologists working of different aspects of T cell biology, ranging from development to inflammation and cancer.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Develop methodology to transcriptionally and proteomically analyze rare T cell populations from neonatal mice
  • Elucidate differences and similarities between neonatal and neuropathogenic T cells
