Fungal Strain Engineering Manager

We are looking for a skilled project manager who will be able to perform and coordinate fungal strain engineering efforts within the HARMONIZE project; a multi-partner grand solution project funded by the Innovation foundation. HARMONIZE will use different fungal species, yeast and filamentous fungi, mutant collections and auxiliary genes in high throughput with the aim of finding new and efficient cell factories.
The job concerns:
- Making strains engineerable by introducing standard mutations for this purpose
- Design and make cell factories using engineerable strains
- Coordinate strain engineering efforts in the Harmonize project
- Develop databases for strain storage
