Research project: Genome editing in sugar beet

DLF Seeds and University of Copenhagen, Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology is inviting applications for a joint doctoral or research project between the institute and DLF Seeds/MariboHilleshög to start up from September 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter. MariboHilleshög is a part of DLF Seeds, who is the largest forage and turf seed company in the world.

The project is a three (3) year project in collaboration with Prof. Caixia Gao, Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, CAS and will be conducted as a joint doctoral or research project between University of Copenhagen, Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology and DLF/MariboHilleshög. A total of two (2) years will be spent at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, CAS in Beijing, while the remainder will be split between DLF/MariboHilleshög’s site in Landskrona and the University of Copenhagen.
