Not only do we design and engineer the necessary technology for installation at the beginning of a well’s life, we also provide a full portfolio of essential maintenance services using our versatile range of tools.

The end result is advanced completion products that provide life-of-well integrity, and lightweight yet powerful tools that improve safety and reduce environmental impact, fuel consumption and associated carbon footprint.

Our Story
In 1987, founder and former CEO Jørgen Hallundbæk began to develop the idea of the Well Tractor® – a means of conveyance for well interventions.
This single innovation would go on to transform the industry and enable interventions that had never before been possible, thanks to robotic electric line (e-line) conveyed technology.
Welltec officially formed in 1994, the innovative spirit and commitment to thinking and doing different still runs deep throughout the company today.
From one man’s vision, we are today a multinational organization with a workforce of over 850 employees.
