A Community with Flavor and History
HARIBO is an international, family-owned company with more than 8,500 employees across 26 countries and the world’s leading manufacturer of gummy and licorice products. Every day, our products bring smiles to millions of people around the globe.
In Denmark, we produce high-quality gummy candies at our factory in Faxe, continuing a tradition that began in 1926 when Christian Hansen and his son Eckhof Hansen founded Sukkervarefabrikken Danmark. A collaboration with the German manufacturer Hans Riegel from Bonn (HAns RIegel BOnn) led to the establishment of HARIBO Lakrids A/S in Denmark in 1935, resulting in beloved classics such as Skipper Skrå, Pinocchiokuglen, Piratos, Matador Mix, and Goldbears.
Today, we continue this proud tradition at the Faxe factory and our Nordic headquarters in Vallensbæk, where we work across sales, marketing, finance, HR, and other functions serving the Nordic market. Our culture is built on craftsmanship, quality, collaboration, and a genuine desire to create joy – both for our customers and for each other.
