DONG Energy Customers & Markets

We all use energy in our everyday lives, and our Distribution & Customer Solutions business unit supplies the energy our customers need every day. This is one of the most important tasks of the business unit, which handles all aspects of the purchase, sale and distribution of energy at DONG Energy.

What we do
Distribution & Customer Solutions handles all of our production from sources such as wind turbines and oil and gas fields for customers and energy exchanges in Northern Europe. We also distribute electricity in Greater Copenhagen and North Zealand, and we sell and distribute gas to customers in West Zealand and Southern Denmark. Our activities also include storage of gas in Northern Europe, development of the electricity grid of the future and long-term partnership agreements. One of Customers & Markets' focus areas involves the development of smart, energy-efficient customer solutions that generate a high level of satisfaction.

Where we operate
­Distribution & Customer Solutions operates in the energy markets in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, France and the UK, where our activities include buying and selling energy. The activities in the eight markets vary greatly from each other.
