To ensure we use best practice engineering processes we need 2 Business Process Managers (BPMs) to define and deploy best practice worldwide, one to be located in India and one in Denmark.
It is our strategy to develop a strong concept of standardization/modularization of our products, enabling us to conduct business as “Configure to order" in order to reduce cost and lead-time. To aid this we are rolling out one global PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solution.
It is a central responsibility of the BPM to assist in the global PLM solution roll out, applying an end-2-end approach. Starting with preparing the local entity for the upcoming process changes that comes with the new solution. After the roll out, to go back for process confirmation of the full flow, since it is in the interfaces and the understanding of downstream processes we see a great potential.
