The High Through-put screening group is responsible for assay development and screening of enzyme variant libraries using semi-automated and fully automated systems. The HTS group is a part of the Novozymes Protein Engineering function which is responsible for developing new products for all the industries that Novozymes serves.
We use state of-the-art robotic systems and semi-automated systems to help us gain the screening capacity needed to generate knowledge, and to find the unique molecules that become Novozymes products.
A large part of the job of the department manager will be to develop the future strategy for protein screening at Novozymes and to ensure that we have the right equipment, competencies and focus to excel at product development through protein engineering.

We are looking for a highly qualified scientist preferably with experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a good business understanding to join the Pilot plant/API Support unit to work with fermentation processes and raw material evaluation.
Your primary areas
- Cultivation of bacteria (Mycobacterium bovis, Bordetella pertussis, Clostridium tetani) in e.g. lab-scale upstream fermentations
- Media production and assessment of the effect of new raw materials
- Evaluation and usability testing of new raw materials for production

The Center for RNA Medicine, Department of Clinical Medicine, Aalborg University is seeking an outstanding postdoc for our expanding research program in long noncoding RNA biology and cancer therapeutics. The postdoc position is open for appointment from August 15th, 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment is initially for 2 years with the possibility of extension to 3 years. The position will be based at the Copenhagen Campus of Aalborg University.
The Department of Clinical Medicine conducts research within all the clinical medical disciplines and provides teaching resources in all subject fields at the Faculty of Medicine of Aalborg University. The Department of Clinical Medicine has 40 affiliated research units organized in a series of cross-disciplinary research programs, such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and neurological disorders.
