Scientific Consultant (project position) – DTU Health Tech

DTU Health Tech is seeking a formulation chemist to contribute to an exciting local depot formulation technology, CarboCell, e.g. for delivery of antibiotics aimed at local infection treatment.

This role is a unique blend of scientific research and commercial venture, involving work on patented technologies and a strategy for sustained release of small molecule-based therapies.

You will play a key role in evolving our research into a successful spin-out company.

PhD scholarships on “Live” Visualizations of Single Nanoparticle Catalysts at the Atomic-Scale - DTU Physics

Could you envision “seeing” chemical reactions being catalyzed at the atomic-scale? Two or more scholarships are now open for experimental research in nanoparticle catalysis using advanced operando electron microscopy at the Center for Visualizing Catalytic Processes (VISION).

VISION is developing and applying a new unique platform for visualizing catalytic nanoparticles and reactions at the atomic-level by integrating cutting-edge electron microscopy, microfabricated nanoreactors, nanoparticle synthesis and computational modelling. This approach enables new, direct operando observations that are urgently needed to advance mechanistic insight into catalytic processes at the atomic-scale.

The small scale of smart hearables such as ear pods, headsets, and hearing aids present unique challenges to accurately and reliably measure the acoustic and vibroacoustic behaviour of their components. But modelling, simulation, and optimization of such devices relies on accurate measurement data.

As a PhD candidate with us you will investigate and develop measurement methods suitable for small parts and evaluate reliability and uncertainty of these methods.

PhD scholarship in digitalization of polymer-based battery electrolyte development - DTU Energy

You will work on a project to design fluorinated polymers prepared through light-induced polymerization. The design space for finding the optimal composition and synthesis conditions for polymer electrolytes is too vast to explore manually. Therefore, we are combining self-driving labs, high-throughput atomic scale simulations, and AI to transition to digitalization-based automation of electrolyte development.

Postdoctoral researcher in eating disorders

Do you wish to pursue research in a clinical research, multidisciplinary, international environment?

You will contribute to an international grant focusing on the overlap (shared development, shared risk and shared phenotypes) between eating disorders and internalising disorders.

The project focuses on data from existing population-based studies, e.g. ALSPAC. The project is a collaboration between 3 centers in the US and CEDaR. You will have diverse tasks and responsibilities, incl. developing study protocols, data analysis, writing manuscripts etc. in collaboration with international collaborators and in-house staff.
