Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology

The University of the Faroe Islands is currently looking to appoint the next Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology to lead the development of the Faculty, including strategic leadership and management of staff.

The Dean’s responsibilities include:

• Shaping the Faculty and carrying out the objectives and vision of the University and the Faculty.
• Implementing and standardising the Faculty’s programme descriptions based on research and the University’s quality enhancement policy.
• Developing the Faculty research profile and working towards increased collaboration both within and outside of the University.

Regional Information Security Officer (m/f/d)

Join us in this role where you’ll advise and support our Central Europe countries management teams and regional business leaders in all information security management, cyber risk management, cyber compliance management, and corporate cyber strategy implementation matters.

You’ll act on behalf of our entities as information security focal point to national authorities where and as required by local legislation. In your role, you’ll monitor the national cyber and information security legislation across regions and support the use and local implementation as well as the continues improvement of the global corporate information security management system.
