For our Global Sourcing team, Cobham SATCOM is looking for a Global Category Manager to be responsible for a specified category portfolio. The position offers a great opportunity to independently influence central commodity categories working cross-functionally with colleagues in the global sourcing team and the rest of the organization.
As a Global Category Manager EMS the key responsibilities described above include the following primary tasks:
- Develop, implement, and complete strategies for your own categories
- Maintain, optimize, and develop the collaboration with suppliers in your own portfolio
- Develop, negotiate, and close agreements and contracts on all levels in line with business targets – in Danish and English

Cobham SATCOM is growing our business and optimizing the global supply chain. As part of the transformation we are looking for a Global Demand Planner to join our small, young and high performing team working with Global Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP).
In your role, you are responsible for the global demand plan to develop and maintain accurate product forecasts.You will review the total demand plan by product lines and work closely with key stakeholders in Sales and Supply to ensure alignment with business strategies.You will also work closely with Product Development to support successful new product launch planning and execution. It is imperative with precise and coordinated forecasting as this affects the whole value chain.

You will be a member of an engaged Project Procurement team, which is part of the Maersk Drilling Global Procurement Department. You will manage projects related to capital investments, global cost drives and Procurement’s strategies. You will be exposed to both internal and external senior stakeholders and we expect a high degree of diligence, engagement and commitment.
You main key responsibilities will be:
- Manage, handle and lead supplier negotiations individually or in cooperation with Category Management and Sourcing
- Ensure that project decisions considers Procurement’s best practices
- Closely cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders and across all procurement functions.
